I can’t watch the Lakers this season
- July 29, 2021
My first thoughts: If you want to get in on the Lakers pre-season action, you’re going to need to watch this week’s episode of the Lakers’ show on TNT.
If you don’t want to miss the Lakers at all, you can tune in to one of the games in the playoffs, which you’ll find on TNT this weekend.
The Lakers will be hosting the Houston Rockets on Saturday at 6 p.m.
ET, and you can catch the Lakers vs. Hornets series on TNT on Sunday at 6:30 p..m., with both games airing on TNT Plus.
In the weeks leading up to the start of the playoffs and the start for the NBA Finals, TNT is broadcasting the Lakers-Celtics NBA Finals on Sunday night at 7:30.
TNT is also televising the first round of the NBA playoffs on Wednesday night at 8 p.
“The Lakers-Rockets series will air on TNT from the Staples Center, as well as the Lakers/Celtic series on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.,” TNT said.
The NBA playoffs will also be airing on the NBA TV channel on Thursday at 8 pm ET.
“These two telecasts will provide fans with a chance to tune in and see the action unfold, and to get an inside look at the games,” TNT said in a statement.
TNT has also announced a new channel on TNT, dubbed the Lakers Network, which will air games on TNT and TNT Plus on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8.30 p “For the first time ever, fans can watch the NBA Playoffs live in HD and on demand,” TNT added.
While the Lakers are hosting the Rockets in Houston on Sunday, the Clippers are hosting at Staples Center on Thursday night.
The game between the Clippers and Rockets will be shown on TNT at 9 p.M.
ET and on TNT+ at 9:30pm ET.
The Clippers will also televise the game between LeBron James and the Cavaliers at 6 a. m.
ET on TNT as well.
“This season is about giving fans a chance at seeing the Lakers win a championship,” TNT head of content Dan Goldin said in the statement.
“With all of the events that we’re announcing, we’re hoping fans will tune in on TNT for a chance for the Lakers to take the court against the Cavs and LeBron James.”NBA Playoffs on TNT starts on Sunday.
If we don’t see the Lakers in action, we’ll be following their playoff series with the Houston Astros, which they won in the Western Conference Finals,” Goldin added.
The NBA playoffs have been delayed until July 28.
