Ron Paul’s former staffers were on a “hit list” of his former staffers
The former staffers of Sen. Ron Paul (R-Texas) have been linked to an FBI hit list, the Washington Post reported Monday.
The Post reported that former staffers for former Rep. Steve King (R) of Iowa were also on the list, and that Paul staffers were also targeted in a 2014 federal lawsuit.
King’s lawyers alleged that Paul was targeted for his political activities during the 2016 presidential election and his refusal to join the GOP in the midterm elections.
The Washington Post said the Pauls’ former chief of staff, Johnnie Williams, was also on a list, along with others.
The paper did not say if anyone on the hit list worked for Paul.
The list included the names of Paul staffers who worked on Paul’s 2012 campaign and the Paul campaign.
