HULU: India’s ‘ultimate’ streaming service aims to deliver top content to millions of subscribers

HULUSO, India — India’s largest streaming platform and the second-largest Internet service provider in the country, will roll out its “ultimate” streaming service for the next two months, the company said Monday.
Hulu, the nation’s second-biggest streaming service behind Google, is launching its premium streaming service this month to give its users the best experience possible, as well as add features that enhance its already huge user base.
Its premium streaming services will be available in all regions, including in India, the country’s second largest.
The company said the launch of its premium service will come on July 2 in the U.S. and India, but not in Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
“The ultimate service is our vision of a premium experience where content will be curated based on what works best for you,” HULUs Chief Operating Officer Rajesh Patel said in a statement.
“This means that content will focus on users who share a specific passion and need, and we will provide them with the best content to watch.”
Hulu’s top-tier streaming service will provide users with exclusive access to premium content on Hulu, which also owns and operates Netflix, Amazon and other digital video platforms.
It will also be available to premium subscribers through various content providers, including Hulu Plus, Hulu Mobile and Hulu Plus TV, the statement said.
Hulu is currently available in several countries including the U and Europe, and in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom and Japan.
The premium service, which is being launched by HULuso in India on July 1, will offer a range of exclusive, premium content including original content, news, sports and more.
Streaming content will include premium movies, music, TV series, movies and documentaries.HULU will also offer a “unique set of features,” which include an unlimited number of video, audio and text chat options and a variety of add-ons to enhance the content and features offered on the premium service.
The service will also have exclusive access for premium subscribers to HULUCASTROPHONE, a premium voice-over-IP chat service, a video call and a chat function.
Hulk-owned Viacom will also launch a premium-only streaming service later this month in India.
It is a joint venture between Hulu and Viacomo and is expected to bring premium video content from Viacome’s movies, TV shows, documentaries and sports programming.
