Reactions from the tech world: Elon Musk says ‘we are on the verge of a technological revolution’
Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur and Tesla CEO, was asked at an event at a tech conference what he thought about the “technological revolution” in the tech industry and his response is one of the best we’ve seen.
He said, “We’re at the verge.
I mean, it’s going to happen.
We’re just going to have to see what happens.”
What’s the technology?
Musk told CNBC last month that he believes the tech sector is on the “edge of a technology revolution” and that we are in the midst of a “digital revolution.”
That means a change in how people interact with technology, he said.
He added that he thinks the technology is “getting better every day.”
Musk said, if you look at the history of the world, technology has always been at the edge of revolution.
He said, I’m pretty sure the industrial revolution, the industrial age, was on the edge, as was the technological revolution.
We were very close to the technological edge, but we’re still in the technological middle.
Musk’s comments are a reminder of the fact that Tesla is in the process of expanding its Model 3 electric car, which is expected to be released in 2021.
It is the company’s largest car ever and its battery has been estimated to be the world’s most efficient and battery-packed.
Musks comments came after a report from The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday that Tesla has a $1 billion cash position that could double to $2 billion by the end of the year.
The company said its cash pile is up from about $400 million at the end.
