The show will be called “Barely Legal.”
“We wanted to bring some variety and excitement to the show,” NBC Entertainment President and CEO Mark Lazarus told The Associated Press in an interview.
The show will begin airing at 7 p.m.
ET on Wednesday, and will feature 16 shows that range from dance-offs to reality-themed reality series.
NBC said it will air six new shows each week, and each will feature a host and a guest judge.
“Bareli legal” will air on Wednesday nights at 9 p.l., and the remaining shows will air at 11 p.t.
On Monday, NBC Sports announced that it would also debut “Cowboys” in the format, and the network is looking to expand to other popular entertainment formats in the future.
“It’s really important that we bring some excitement to a new type of entertainment to our viewers, so we’re excited about this opportunity to expand,” Lazarus said.NBC has been in negotiations with CBS for several years to bring “Cowboy” back to television.
